1. Introduction
This Payment Policy outlines the terms and conditions governing all payments made to Cahaya Kembara Travel & Tour Sdn. Bhd. (“Cahaya Kembara”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) for travel packages, tours, transportation services, ticketing, or any other travel-related products. By making a booking or payment to Cahaya Kembara, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Payment Policy.
2. Accepted Payment Methods
- Online Bank Transfer / FPX (Malaysia local banks)
- Credit / Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard)
- E-Wallets (Touch 'n Go, Boost, GrabPay – subject to availability)
- Cash Payment (at Cahaya Kembara office)
- International Transfers (for overseas clients – applicable transfer fees may apply)
All payments must be made in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) unless stated otherwise.
3. Booking Deposit
- A deposit of 50% of the total booking value is required to confirm all travel arrangements.
- The balance payment must be settled no later than 14 days before departure or as stated in your invoice.
- For last-minute bookings (less than 14 days before departure), full payment is required upon confirmation.
Failure to complete payment within the stipulated time may result in automatic cancellation of the booking without prior notice.
4. Payment Confirmation
After payment is made, customers are required to:
- Email the payment proof or receipt to cahayakembarahq@gmail.com.
- Include Booking Reference Number, Full Name, and Contact Number in the email.
Cahaya Kembara will issue an official receipt upon successful payment verification.
5. Currency and Charges
- All prices quoted are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) unless stated otherwise.
- Exchange rate fluctuations, bank charges, or international transaction fees (if applicable) are the responsibility of the payer.
- Cahaya Kembara Travel & Tour Sdn. Bhd. is not responsible for any additional bank or payment gateway fees incurred during the transaction.
6. Late or Failed Payments
If a payment fails, is delayed, or is reversed by your financial institution, Cahaya Kembara reserves the right to:
- Suspend or cancel your booking;
- Request an alternative payment method; and/or
- Impose late payment charges, if applicable.
Any reinstatement of a cancelled booking will be subject to availability and updated rates at the time of rebooking.
7. Refunds and Cancellations
Refund eligibility is governed by Cahaya Kembara’s Cancellation and Refund Policy, which must be read in conjunction with this Payment Policy. Refunds, where applicable, will be made only to the original payment method and may take 14–30 working days to process, depending on the payment provider and bank procedures.
8. Fraud Prevention
Cahaya Kembara reserves the right to request additional verification documents (such as identification or authorization letters) for high-value transactions or suspicious activities. Any fraudulent payment or misrepresentation will result in immediate cancellation of the booking and may be reported to relevant authorities.
9. Invoice and Tax
All confirmed bookings will receive an official invoice issued by Cahaya Kembara Travel & Tour Sdn. Bhd.. Applicable taxes, service charges, or surcharges will be indicated clearly in the quotation or invoice.
